It’s Melbourne Cup time again and Tuesday 6th November will see the nation pause at 3pm Melbourne time (AEDT) to watch 24 of the finest racehorses from around the world compete in one of the most famous and richest races.
The current favourite is Irish stayer Yucatan, even though he has drifted in betting after drawing barrier number 23 out 24.
With rain forecast for Flemington, the big mover in betting has been Magic Circle, an English stayer with proven wet weather form.
