Three very lucky Aussies have woken up multi-millionaires after taking out division one in last night’s record $160 million Powerball.
The entries from New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia have each won over $53 million each, splitting the largest lottery prize in Australian history.
A spokesperson from The Lott said the Victorian winner struggled to hold back tears when they broke the life-changing news to him.
“I never thought I’d get this phone call. This has changed my life.
“I can’t wait to tell my family. My family is set. My grandson wanted a dog for Christmas and I was trying to organise it for him. He can have all the dogs in the world now.”
The man admitted he probably won’t be showing up for work today. “I’m done with work. I’m out of here, mate. Retirement is calling,” he said.
