Powerball draw number 1161 with it’s $100 million jackpot has been won by two winners who will receive $50 million each.
The record breaking draw, the largest ever in Australian Powerball history, saw people lined up buying tickets to be in with a chance of winning a share of the massive jackpot.
The first winner has been revealed as a man in his 20s from Melbourne who bought his ticket online. The second winner, who was a mystery with an unregistered ticket, has also finally been confirmed as a man from Riverwood in Sydney who carried the winning ticket around in his wallet without realising he had won. It was only after hearing that the winner bought their ticket in the Bankstown area that he finally checked the numbers.
